I interpret this as meaning that spiritual existence
cannot be quantified with material instrumentation. 
Perhaps. But in Quantum Physics something awfully
close to this is being routinely observed: that being
that a cause perpetrated on a sample of matter on one
side of the planet creates an effect on a sample of
matter on the other side of the planet, without any
obvious connection between the samples, other than
that they have been cut from the same original piece.
     Similarly, the efficacy of prayer is routinely
being demonstrated: the effect of thought on matter.
