RC vs CC again

IMHO, don't bother. Several years ago when I bought my new 1098 and =
noticed that it had a reversed-crown soundboard, I called NY several =
times (at least three times, maybe four) speaking with different =
Steinway technical representatives each time. Only one guy had enough =
background to say that he thought soundboards were supposed to be =
crowned the other way. The other two or three thought they were supposed =
to be flat.

One of these days I'll have to write them and thank them for fueling my =
interest in pianos and soundboards. I remember being dumbfounded that I =
could not get a straight answer from them. It was a very frustrating =
experience.
