Joe prompted me to send a pic, so here are two. Pulleys are 1" in 
diameter.  The idea is to put the bass string in an "S" on the 
pulleys and run it up and down the string.

I haven't used it for awhile, but I'm certain I remove the string 
from the hitch and hold it to facilitate the process.
