I have a fair little bit of experience with rot in wood and =
termite-eaten wood. Same bit of advice for both afflictions: Whatever =
evidence you can see on the piano exterior, the only safe assumption is =
that there is 10 to 100 times more damage that you can't see =
............. at a minimum. A whole rib completely eaten? Run, don't =
walk.
