Cleaning Glue Pot Liners: was Re: compression ridges and hide glue

I don't clean them out because I don't put glue in them.  I put the glue in
a mason jar and put water in the glue pot and the jar in the water.  When
the jar gets nasty, I throw it out (I mean recycle) and start over.

Just started following these threads, how about this question: How do you
clean out your glue pot liners ? I have tried soap, chlorox (lots of
bubbles and overflow) only boiling water works well. Any ideas out there?
