It only makes sense, from the client's point of view: If I've got to: a) take a day off b) stay at home I might as well: a) have the washing machine guy come b) have the windows replaced (yes, when it was COLD out!) c) have the contractor start ripping out the basement floor (does the jackhammer bother you?) d) have the carpets steam cleaned (they were gone already, but the humidity was a bajillion %) And of course, no matter what the time of day or night, the lawn guy has to seek me out, or the neighbor sets up his trusty Crapsman table saw out on the driveway, and starts ripping boards for something or another!
