David Stahl's report would fall in one category. What you seem to be
asking for is the "typical-male-fantasy-turned-real". Yes, in my work
there are plenty of ladies far more attractive than their pianos.
Some of the relationships with my customers turn into deep friendship
as the years go by. Some first time visits spark a rapport which make
me wonder "Gee, does she pour herself into a conversation that easily
with any service person who shows up?"

In any case, I keep in mind the trust which makes it possible for
people to invite me into their homes, or if not there, leave the door
open for me. Especially the ladies, for whom persistent male
fantasies are at best an annoyance, and at worst, a hazard. Mixing
business and "fun" is risky if you intend to stay in business.

Which is not to say that I don't occasionally think of how lucky a
particular husband is. (If none is in the picture, then it's, how
lucky someone once was or will be.)
