I carry a piece of plexiglas about 10-1/2" x 7/8" x 3/16" which doubles as
let-off gauge (a la Spurlock) and damper-to-key timing gauge. I wouldn't
do it any other way. It is very fast and very accurate, even when you
needn't be.
