Too much CA?

I've put so much CA on a block (old upright) that it
welled up around the plate screws, and glued all the
strings together. My piano, fortunately ( Cable
studio, 1928), and I had to slice the strings apart
with a knife. But it worked!!!
If I ever try to take this piano apart, though,.
I anticipate much grief.
