Guy, list,

Does anyone know what some kind of green powder inside an older
Acrosonic might be? I assume it's something to kill the "pests". It's
on the back end of the keys, on the hammers and the top of the
dampers. I decided I didn't want to take a chance but would like to
know what it might be. It's sort of a Kelly green in color.

This may be a product called "Paris Green". I worked @Wadley
Piano in Dallas in the late 70's and saw lots of this stuff in older
pianos. The store owner (The late Brookin Wadley) told me they used it
for Critter control in the "old days".
I don't know its composition but caution might be in order.
