Tendonitis

You wear it up close to the elbow as comfortable. You only need to wear it 
while using the arm. My brother made it through tennis tournaments by ice 
packing every chance while playing and hot packs between matches. Also an arm 
band. The arm band  helps the muscle pull straight away instead of lifting the 
tendons and tearing at the attachment points.
