So... in the end... to round this one off.... lets see if I understand the
consensus  correctly.

Close enough is pretty much the best you can accomplish in a couple passes for
most situations. And as good as you can do period in concert situations.

The imposition of any particular cents tolerance is ok for somethings like
exams where you simply have to set some kind of borders... but not too usefull
in communicating much in the way of meaningfull tolerance figures in real life
tuning situations.

This about it.. ?.. or what ?
