D hammers

Paul, the customer should understand that putting on a non-lacquered type
hammer (i.e. a high tension hammer like Renner) will completely change the
sound of the instrument. If he is happy with the general sound of the
instrument right now, then choose a low tension hammer to replace what is
currently on the piano (Ronsen makes a great Steinway substitute). However,
the hammer choice will in and of itself will not improve any of the power
issues.
