Newton's idea is worth a try...I have reported this before but I had real stability problems with a Yamaha C7. I called Tech support and complained that there was space between the plate flange and the pinblock. They recommended letting tension down and putting pressure on the pinblock, then tightening the plate screws going into the pinblock. I did just an voila...no more instability. I would try it without taking the tension down first!
