This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment How far back do you go to smooth out that change? At the break, you run = into a problem and have to adjust a note. In that completed octave, = there is=20 a smaller, or larger 1/2 step, with all the ramifications to go along = with=20 that. Do you go back and recalculate the whole octave, or what? Ron Koval (fly in the ointment day) Once I know there's a problem, I go back to where the problem started = and start over, for instance, if I'm tuning down into the bass and about = the fifth note I do some checks, and find that the tuning is too wide = for my tastes, then I go back to the break and tighten things up a bit. = The treble's pretty much a no-brainer, because I split the difference = between a perfect twelfth and a double octave.=20 Kevin Ramsey ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
