The official eggspert on this type of thing is James Schmitt, Portland
Chapter.<G> He spent a lot of time, during his college days, working for a
company that cleaned up after fires. He has done extensive research into the
appropriate substances to use, on pianos, to remove the odors, the
corrosiveness, etc. Best you contact him for some real insight to how to do
this kind of work. He will be giving a two part class on this very subject,
at the Pacific Northwest Regional Conference, March, 2003.
