Well Susan, Since others have, I will too. When I was still learning, I was asked to tune a teacher's piano at her home. She was active in the little theatre I was in at the time (in the Army), so I did. Well, of course, a string broke and I hadn't gotten to the point yet where I had the necessary supplies to replace it. I was in the DC/Baltimore area at the time and I think I called most of the techs in the area trying to get someone to come out and replace the string. I finally did but I also got a lecture from an older tech (I assumed at the time) about doing that kind of work before I had the necessary supplies to "fix" things like this. Actually, he was probably correct!
