Roger, This piano is a 15 year Feurich 190 Grand. Beautiful instrument but the wippen cushions are clacky. I'm particularly interested in softening the cushions. They are in excellent condition except noisy. I had intended on needling but may try the steam if it will soften them as well as needling David I. ----- Original message ----------------------------------------> From: Roger Jolly <roger.j@sasktel.net> To: Phil Bondi <tito@philbondi.com>, Pianotech <pianotech@ptg.org> Received: Thu, 21 Nov 2002 14:00:32 -0600 Subject: Re: softening wippen cushions >Hi Phil, > Just got back from sunny LA, very pleasant trip. >Steaming the wippen cushion's, will work very well, remember to dry iron >after steaming, to set the felt.
