softening wippen cushions

Roger,

This piano is a 15 year Feurich 190 Grand.  Beautiful instrument but the wippen cushions are clacky.  I'm particularly interested in softening the cushions.  They are in excellent condition except noisy.  I had intended on needling but may try the steam if it will soften them as well as needling
