Hi Avery,
                 Agree 100% Burnish the rep lever with some hard felt, and 
powder the knuckle with powder, rub it in with a small cork, and it will be 
squeak free for a long time.
About the only place I use Graphite is on bridge caps, and a pencil on rep 
spring slots, well burnished.
