Black or wood grain? Fluted legs or fat round legs or spade feet? Oh, what the heck, I'll come pick it up, sight unseen. I tune a 1903 O that's in pretty fair shape. The owner has a photo of the original owner sitting at and playing the shiny, brand-new piano. It is a very sharp and clear photo of a lovely young woman in a high-collared, white (or very light colored) Victorian dress. What a treasure to have with your Steinway. She also has a program from an organ concert at the 1904 World's Fair and a general pamphlet about the fair that all came with the piano when she bought it--over 60 years ago! I'd trade a 1953 PA Stark spinet I tuned once (shudder ... ) for either of these Steinways even if they might need a little work. Ha.
