I would hope that lack of service in one area would not void a warranty in another. Example: I have an Excursion with a 75,000 mile warranty. I follow all the manufacture's guidelines about oil, filter etc. I have also treated the leather seats. However, if I failed to use leather conditioning on the seats, would that void the warranty on the engine? I really hope not. dave *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 11/14/2002 at 8:40 AM Vanderhoofven wrote: >I wrote: >> >>When the customer blows off service like this, it is like driving >50,000 >>miles and never changing >> >> the oil in the Lexus or Porsche. > >Terry Farrell wrote: >> >Have to disagree with this analogy. 50,000 miles without an oil change >> >WILL cause excessive wear on internal engine components.
