I would like to ask how that dimension is measured? From the center of the center pin down through the shank to the center of the piece of wood that connects the roller to the shank? (what do you call that?) Or from the part of the roller the jack touches, the distance from that to the center of the center pin? . I wish I could draw it it would save 100 words. The issue might be the thickness of the roller vs the spacing of the roller from the center pin. you have to consider both as in rollers of x circumference are spaced y mm from the c pin. while rollers of z circumference are spaced w mm from the pin. ----- Original Message ----- From: Isaac OLEG <oleg-i@wanadoo.fr> To: Pianotech Mailing list <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Tuesday, November 12, 2002 2:59 PM Subject: 18 mm roller dimension - grand shanks > > Do someone knows if a 18 mm dimension (roller to center pin) can be > find on replacement shanks and where , if exist. > > Not for me, a colleague asked me about that, so I thought of asking > you. > > Thanks, and bests > > Isaac OLEG > > Isaac OLEG > > PianoTech > 19 rue Jules Ferry > 94400 VITRY sur SEINE > FRANCE > tel. : 033 01 47 18 06 98 > fax : 033 01 47 18 06 90 > cell: 06 60 42 58 77 > > _______________________________________________ > pianotech list info: https://www.moypiano.com/resources/#archives
