Hello, I am working on a piano that I acquired a few months ago. I have decided to replace the hammers. They have already been filed and the blow distance varies quite a bit from hammer to hammer, but is nearly 2" overall. I am debating whether to order stock hammers or send samples and get a custom made set. Stock is cheaper, but I am concerned about matching the angles in the bass and tenor sections.
