The hammer return spring is in the immediate vicinity and may be the culprit.

Does the squeak happen when you trip the jack by hand?

The bridle wire may be rubbing on the adjacent backcheck wire but that is 
more of a click usually.

The bridle strap not only aides in hammer return, it also keeps the wippens 
from falling too low when
the action is removed thus keeping the jack on the butt felt and not jammed 
under the butt.
