pulley key repair kit

The inserts that came with my kit were made of fiber, not wood and I am told that they get noisy. It is very easy to insert a balance rail pin in a scrap of wood, set the key upside down on the pin and use it as a guide for the saw kerf. It has been a while since I did this but I think that a coping saw blade was a nice size for the veneer.
