Twisting Bass Strings

If the loop is made correctly, you could twist the string 10 times and it
would not come undone. The problem is that there are some loop making
fixtures out there that are poorly made, worn out, poorly designed, poorly
maintained, etc.; you pick. The good String makers are aware of the fact
that the loop is a critical part of making strings and strive to make the
loop "goof-proof", IMHO
