Thanks to all who replied to my question about straightening wedge damper felt in a Chickering Quarter Grand. The underlever stop rail was raised and the sustenuto rod was removed. This allowed me to swival the damper heads upside down and straighten them with a needle nosed pliers. They were easy to pinch between my thumb and first finger to reshape and reposition. Some trimming of their length became necessary. It went well. Thank you! Paul Chick
