Dampers/Chickering Quarter Grand/Paul Chick

Paul,
On the Quarter Grand the damper heads pivot, so loosen the up-stop rail,
(raise it), and use the Renner damper pliers to stroke those puppies back to
an acceptable shape. Test for fit. Readjust the upstop rail and you are up
and running. I've found that if you heat the plier jaws with an alcohol
lamp, sometimes helps also.
