This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hi Hazen: I can't give you any advice on labor charges, but I'd use the time = studies available and multiply by your hourly shop rate. In stabilizing = quickly, I'd install all the strings at once, and immediately pull them = up one semitone higher than where they should be. Go back in a couple = of days, see where they are, treat them as a standard pitch raise = (overpull by 1/3 of the flatness cents), tune, then check again in a few = days, and repeat the process. This should have resulted in near = normal characteristics for the bass strings. This should be able to be = accomplished within 1-2 weeks.
