Hello,

I said in a last post that parts where available in Europe.

It surprises me a bit because Yamaha decisions are took for the whole world
generally.

I checked that today, and indeed, Yamaha policy is the same here, no parts
sold for the piano numbers corresponding at Japan production for Japan.

I wonder if it is only for the verticals where the numbers are very
recognizable, as all grand's are build in Japan I believe.

I remember reading that the first letter of the number is an indication on
where the piano was assembled.

May be they don't check farther when you order parts.

I am working actually on a very good UX (vertical 1.31 m) and, it is a very
heavily build piano, the screws are a little loose but not that much , I
don't see any sign of future looseness on this one.

If I where to order hammers for it , I would ask for U3 hammers - after
checking the size on the piano , and look for a number to order the parts.

Anyway, as I told before, I have no problems to order parts as damper felt,
cushions and punching, key cover, etc...

Hope it clears a bit the situation.

Isaac
