Jason: Yes, perhaps I should have mentioned that. I should qualify my response a bit first. I don't generally tune WT's. I prefer ET for the most part, but I don't mind educating my clients who show interest in other possibilities. Anyway, I find it breaks up the tuning monotony a bit. I have many clients with two pianos and find this to be a very convenient way to introduce the subject. Plus it gives them a real mode of comparison. I don't prefer the stronger WT's. I find them unpleasant. A subtle change between keys is plenty to create bit of surprise without jarring the senses or putting that look on your face like you've heard something wrong. Twenty-one cents wide thirds is too much for my ear, and I don't like to compromise the fifths too much either. So I generally stick to either the Moore, Coleman 11, and recently the Wendell mild that was introduced to me by Paul Bailey.
