Bandsaw Recommendation

Dern tootin' good point! I don't know. A Delignit double is 18.5" wide and Bolduc and the Pianotek multilam double pinblocks are 17" wide. Actual blade-to-throat spec distance is 10-1/2" on the little saw. The furthest into each side of a Delignit block I would have to go is 9-1/4" - that would give me 1-1/4" to spare and I would have 2" clearance on the other blocks. Although I realize that these clearances would actually be less because the block would be on some sort of angle. But I would think if you go one half of the way from one end, and the other half from the other end you could do it?

Newton? What has been your experience with this? Are there any other piano-related applications where the 14-inch would work, but the 10-1/2-inch size might not?

The cost for the two machines is in the same ballpark. I've read enough to be convinced that the Delta is way above the other clones, etc. in quality that will lead to better blade tracking, stability, etc. My assumption is that this Inca would be another full step up in quality. Must admit though, I'm just guessing at this point. I can't imagine that I will find myself felling a sugar maple and wanting to run it through my bandsaw - at least not down here if Florida!
