Hi all

To Tom Sivak: Not sure of your problems with RCT and the user temperament
file, it shouldn't matter which octave you place the offsets.

I will say, that I ran into some problems graphing numbers once from Paul
Bailey.... you see, for some reason we (the collective we) have fallen into
the habit of listing offsets in chromatic order going up, writing on the
page going down..... so down is up and up is down, while Paul has taken the
step of matching down with down and up with up. So, transferring numbers
from the page to the spreadsheet (or tuning machine) means switching down
with up .... or sideways,... or do I start with A...... well, you get the
idea. Go slow and check your work!

C 4.88

D 1.95
D# 2.93
E -1
F 4.88
F# 0
G 3.9
G# 1.95
A 0
A# 3.9
B -1

Since the offsets are more positive than negative, this is a perfect one to
skew the numbers, or balance the temperament, by subtracting 1.5 or 2 cents
from each number, keeping all numbers closer to zero, if you don't need
A=440
