Symphony Piano Sale

For the record I am not advocating shoddy sales gimmicks, which seem to be
the hallmark of many "university piano sales". However I doubt that there
would be as many sold units as there were last year had it not been for the
" university sale". Again I am not advocating this practice.
I'm convinced (though) that the piano marketing think tanks feel that this
is a sure bet to increase sales. I'd like to think that this is not a
desperate move on their part, but often I wonder. Me thinks this is a
desperate measure on their part and they are pulling out all the stops to
keep sales alive...at whatever cost.
Let's face the facts, the piano manufacturing industry is in an extremely
dwindling industry.
People are not flocking to the piano showrooms as they are to the auto
dealership with 0% financing.
Thank goodness that there is still a strong segment of society who (still)
is enamored with the role of the piano plays in our society.
