Yes, the Decals Unlimited are great.  

The directions say don't sand before applying. Well (can't have anybody tell me what to do, now, can we?), I can't resist using 0000 steel wool when I'm dealing with an open grain semi- gloss finish.  Two reasons why that shouldn't be done.  Dust may prevent the proper bonding and some steel wool may have a light film of oil.  That's why I then use a lint free pad and wipe with denatured alcohol.  I've never had a problem.

A heavy wet coat of lacquer will mottle the edges, so use very light first coats to seal before the wet final coat. No, don't ask.
