The most important thing to remember when it comes to battery, is take the
time to turn the backlight OFF whenever possible. I tune up to 5 pianos with
this setting. I carry an extra charger/AC adapter and a 6' extension cord in
my tuning kit at all times and I also bought the car lighter adapter. So
far, I've never been caught out of juice with the iPaq. For me, the light
weight and size alone makes it the ETD of choice.

  Yes, you can.  I do it all the time.  Sometimes it's hard to find a
convenient outlet for the charger, but not usually.
