Hi folks,

Thanks to all who responded to my request for info on these instruments.
Judging from the responses there seem to be several different designs. The
celeste is now stripped down and needing parts replaced. Keys need
rebushing - pin size .137. The tone bar bushings are hard and brittle.
Player tracker bar tubing seems to be a good replacement. Back rail felt is
too soft. The main regulation issues are levelling keys, even hammer spring
tension, and going back and forth between even key dip and even hammer blow
so that the hammers don't block on the tone bars yet are close enough for
momentum to carry the hammer to the tone bar under a light touch. A bit
tedious but interesting nevertheless because it is something different.

Thanks again.

Alan
