Not complaining so much, but my point was that by doing something =
different, as in this case, when one talks about keyboard crown, one =
talks about all the others - and then there is Steinway. I think it is a =
marketing ploy to simple set Steinway apart from all the others at any =
level on conversation. Again, not saying anything negative about =
Steinway, but rather just offering an observation.

    How many times has the name Steinway been mentioned in this thread?=20
    Marketing Department. Just do something a little different, even if =
for no=20
    reason. Then people will need to say Steinway this, Steinway that, =
why does=20
    Steinway do it that way, why don't others....... And there ya go to =
have the=20
    others, and then you have Steinway. I guarantee you that back in =
1878 there=20
    were a bunch of three piece suits sitting around the big walnut =
table at=20
    Steinway trying to figure out ways to put the name Steinway on =
eveyone's=20
    lips.=20

    Just my cynical take.=20

  I could see your complaint if this thread was promoting Steinway. But =
all we're doing here is telling it like it is. No one is promoting =
Steinway. All we're doing is mentioning that Steinway keybeds are =
crowned. This is neither good, or bad publicity for the company. Just a =
reason for the discussion. If S'way keybeds were not crowned, we =
wouldn't be talking about it.=20

  Just my realistic  take=20
