To Del,

I greatly appreciate your comments regarding our difference of opinion. I am
far from alone in respecting your limitless and invaluable contribution to
our art and science and it encourages me greatly to learn that you would be
interested to hear my class in person. From the increase of attention to this
matter it may well be that pretty soon there may be others giving classes who
have developed this duplex tuning process with imporved techniques.

In the meantime I feel somehow that the idea of tuning duplex scales is like
an Indian running the gauntlet. Any new idea , like any new Brave has to pass
the test. It has to pass the whips and trips of the elders and make it to the
finish line. This is as it should be. Because we just can't let anybody with
any old harebrained idea come in and foist his ignorance upon our trade. So I
welcome your interest as I welcomed your criticism, and look forward to the
challenge of trying to convince you that Duplex Tuning can enhance pinao tone.

Thank you.
