easing damper guide bushings

Here's what I do.  If I don't want to remove the dampers, remove the
action and aim a heat gun at the damper wires from inside the cavity
while pushing the damper pedal.  The heated wire will burnish the felt.
Use caution not to overheat the wire and burn the felt.
    I also sometimes remove the damper and use a #7 or #8 bridge pin.
Put it in a vice grip pliers and heat it with the heat gun.  Use it to
ease the bushing.
