Well Susan,

Philosophically, we all can expect them to do so. In reality, it isn't going
to happen. From what I've observed, those kinds of dealers believe that the
bottom line is what is in their best interest.

What we as technicians can do, imho, is hold our individual standards high.
The cream really does rise to the top, and the few good dealers out there
are going to get the cream just like the good techs are going to get
likewise. I do not recommend those dealers who are less than what I consider
honest with the customers. They still get plenty of business but I don't
have to put up with the complaints, and I sleep a whole lot better since I
don't worry about those things I can't change. :-)
