Greetings, "alligatored" as in the hide of an alligator..........Also known in the UK as "Mock Croc". After a craze in the 1960s of making womens fashion accessories handbags shoes etc in a kind of plastic "crocodile effect" material. Yes I think "moody" is probably out of tune in any language as many of the pianos I get called to tune are definitely moody. All a bit like me really ......moody mock croc.
