Dave, I suspect the teflon is doing the job by sticking to the cushion. You
might try  rubbing the capstans with a  block of hammer felt while still in
the  piano,followed by a shot of mclube on the capstans . {careful of
masking the strings from the spray}  shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
