prices for tuning in your country?

One thing to keep in mind about prices is that for the most part we here in
the USA who are independant technicians have to pay a high premium for
health insurance or go without. Some have spouses that have benefits but I
know some technicians who pay approximatly $400 a month for health
insurance. But I know that citizens of some other countries are more heavily
taxed than we are. Cost of living is an important factor in comparing
income. I'd be curious to know from our international technicians what
percentage of a tuning is taxed by the government, and also how much goes to
pay for food, housing, and education.

My price for an hour and a half tuning is $80. It seems about 40% goes out
in taxes and operating expenses. The remaining 60% is divided up between
housing, food, kids, and paying off student loans from when we attended
college. Not much left over. What is it like in China? Or Germany? Or South
Africa? Or anywhere else?
