Dear List,

Rewards from an investment are not neccessarily measured in monetary terms.  
When I looked at my Grandmother's old Hamilton upright grand for the last 
time, and thought about how much music and joy it brought four generations of 
my family, I realized that the piano probably was the greatest investment my 
grandparents ever made.

If you want to make a worthwhile lifetime investment buy a piano.  And know 
that your great-grandchildren will still be cashing in on your investment 
long after you and I are gone.
