Today I installed a D.C. 25W (short length for rear of piano) & 48" 50W in a
small Grand, hooked up to a "H-2" hunidistat. this is the first time I 've
installed a dual heater bar system on a Grand, and I was somewhat surprised
that the two dehumidifier rods were actually "hot" to the touch. Maybe
because the highest wattage i've installed previously has been only up to
25W, and only ONE in uprights.

Should the two rods feel hot to the touch? We're not talkin
hot enough to burn your hand, but hot. They BOTH rods feel equally hot, even
though one is only 25W, while the other, 48" rod is 50W. I'm also used an
"add-in" so i could run both rods off the one humidistat. I'd really
appreciate your prompt feedback on this matter. Thanks!
