Terry, List,

I read this with great interest, Terry, because I overlooked this
instruction completely, and have indeed, mounted the humidistat from the
Dampp-Chaser De-humidifier rod when the humidifier part is not used.

Though it doesn't specifically indicate the humidistat should be mounted
above the rod, it certainly does recommend mounting the humidistat on the
side of the piano, as high as possible, but still under the keybed.
