Well, let's see...Jonas Chickering was born in 1798 and didn't really start
building pianos on his own until about 1826 and then only in very limited
numbers. It wasn't until he teamed up with John MacKay some years later that
he really got started. So, my question is: just which of Jonas Chickering's
ancestors built this piano?
