Sorry to all about my inquiry. I should have trusted my Atlas; It idicated the U3 in question was built in about 1975 (not 1979 as i mistakenly posted earlier), and this morning I called Mark Wisner at Yamaha to get the history, and to make things worse he told me it was also a "Grey Market" U3...even though it does have all three pedals! So much for that. I appreciate Mark taking time to help me, and to all on the list who helped out as well! Cheers!
