general poll-please participate

Only rarely do I put my SAT III on the pinblock (or my SAT II when I used
that). I almost always set in on the fallboard, on the keys if the fallboard
is removed, or if the fallboard is like a Yamaha where you just have one or
two vertical pieces of wood, I will set my Pierce Piano Atlas (or something
of the sort) across the fallboard thingees, or even one end on the fallboard
edge and the other end on the bass hammers and I have a very nice stable
platform. I also use my 9" x 12" paper-holder-thingee in place of the atlas
when it fits better. Only very rarely do I find it a problem finding a good
resting spot.

I recently got a Bill Spurlock lid prop, and that has made it possible to
use the pinblock as a resting place when I need to.
